Job description

Office Administrator (Part-time) required to cover maternity leave for a well-established IT company based in the Worthing area.

The successful candidate will handle various office roles including quote & purchase order management, liaising between internal departments and customers to ensure smooth daily operations. Additional duties may involve project coordination and diary management.

Position Overview:
  • Management of contract renewals & quotations
  • Sending reminders to customers for upcoming deadlines
  • Scheduling technician visits and managing diaries
  • Liaising with customers and suppliers to coordinate schedules
  • Organising licensing procurement and activation
  • Managing client requests and escalating issues as needed
  • Providing quotes where required
  • Explaining technical matters clearly to non-technical users
  • Assisting with deliveries and stock control
  • Onboarding new customers and customer handovers
Position Requirements:
  • Exceptional written and spoken English with attention to detail
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Confident, professional, and a strong team player
  • Highly self-motivated
Position Remuneration:
  • Salary: £23,000 – 24,000 (Pro-rata)
  • Hours: Either 5 days a week 10-2 pm or 3 days a week 9-5 (flexible for the right candidate)
