Office Administrator - Fixed Term (3.5 Months, July to mid-October)

Join a well-established Kiwi-owned leader in agri-machinery manufacturing. Immediate start available with full training provided.

The Company:
With over 40 years in the industry, the company designs and manufactures world-class agricultural machinery. Known for quality and innovation, they are expanding and looking for a committed Office Administrator to join their Winchester team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the main office phone and respond to incoming enquiries
  • Follow up on overdue accounts and liaise with customers
  • Handle finance-related queries or escalate to the appropriate team members
  • Back-cost factory job cards (manual documents)
  • Assist with customer-facing reception duties
  • Support daily admin tasks and cleaning duties as required
  • Reconcile payments, send statements, and chase suppliers for invoices
  • Adhere to SOPs and meet critical deadlines

Note: This role does not include payroll, GST, accounting, or purchasing.

About You:

  • Strong admin experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Confident in customer service and phone handling
  • Familiarity with Xero is essential; experience with Unleashed is an advantage.
  • High attention to detail and able to work to deadlines
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable and adaptable – happy to pitch in where needed

Hours:

  • Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Full-time, office-based
  • Handover and training period of approx. 6 weeks provided (4 weeks training + 2 weeks handover)
  • Fixed-term for 3.5 months

Note: NZ Residency or valid work visa required – no sponsorship available.
