Bright Solicitors are a modern and forward-thinking firm who are committed to providing a high level of service to their expanding client base within the South West of England.

As a result, Bright Solicitors are currently looking to recruit an Office Administrator to join their Professional Support Department. The role involves client exposure and responsibility from day one.

This is an exciting opportunity for a focused and professional individual to join a busy, modern and expanding local law firm. We operate within Plymouth and the surrounding areas and we are looking for committed administrative assistance within our support team.

The Successful Candidate Will:

  • Manage their own day-to-day tasks
  • Work well both independently and as part of the wider team.
The Main Purpose of the Role:
  • To provide administrative support to Bright (South West) LLP.
  • To provide legal and administrative support to various teams for the processes during client onboarding.
  • To provide support as part of the Reception team
  • To provide ad hoc support where needed for the firm.
Key Tasks Include:

This role includes supporting solicitors with a variety of tasks, including file opening and ID checks with the use of the case management system and other third-party programmes such as Third Fort.

Finance Duties

This role includes ID checks with the use of the case management system.

General Tasks

  • To arrange copying, filing and scanning facilities, as required for all staff members.
  • Answering telephones
  • Greeting clients in our front of house Reception area
  • To ensure the confidentiality of all firm’s and client’s documentation and information
  • To undertake other clerical and administrative duties as may reasonably be required from time to time
  • To cover reception where appropriate
  • To deliver daily banking or administer recorded delivery when appropriate
  • Legal Administration – Opening New Matters on our PMS System
Training Requirements:
  • To undertake any specific training when required to do so and overall to have a responsibility towards self-development.
  • To undertake all compliance training.
