Facilities Assistant Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and operation of the buildings to which they are assigned
  • Manage the facilities inbox and escalate to the Facilities Lead where required
  • To manage the weekly and annual fire safety checks, arranging and ensuring annual services and checks are complete and documented
  • Assisting with the annual facilities tactical plan
  • To act as key holder and be prepared to be called out in that capacity
  • To ensure that ‘housekeeping’ standards are maintained within the building and to carry out monthly floor walks to check all facilities are in a good working order
  • To arrange all annual facilities services, scheduling and sign off of work carried out.
  • Ensure stock levels, including consumables and stationery are monitored and maintained

Requirements

  • Experience with scheduling and calendar management.
  • Previous experience in an office or facilities support role
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Basic understanding of office maintenance tasks;
  • Co-ordinating repairs
  • Managing Service Providers
  • Maintaining supplies

Desired;

  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations in an office environment, including fire safety, first aid procedures.
