A well-established consultancy in Sompting is looking for an Office Administrator and Business Support to manage office tasks and liaise with clients. Office Administrator/Business Support

We are looking for a bright, ambitious person to join our busy business support department. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic, driven and hardworking individual with strong administration and Microsoft Office skills. A proven background in Admin/or coming from an IT background is preferred.

My clients are a well-established IT Company with a 20 year+ track record offering a great working environment. You will deal with a various office roles including quote & purchase order raising and act as liaison between various internal departments and customers to ensure the smooth day to day delivery of our products and services. You will also be required to undertake administrative duties in relation to the role, as well as potentially assist the rest of the department with ad-hoc duties as required – including Project Coordination and Diary Management.

Applicants must have an excellent command of written and spoken English with exceptional attention to detail. You must be able to work well both as an individual and within a team and not be afraid to take ownership of requests or issues. Good knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook is essential.

Possible Duties & Responsibilities:

Management of contract renewals & quotations.

Sending reminders to customers for upcoming deadlines.

Scheduling regular technician visits and diary management.

Liaise with customers and suppliers to agree schedules.

Organise the ordering of required licensing and managing the activation thereof.

Own and manage client requests, escalating issues where appropriate.

Quoting works where required.

Clearly explain technical matters to non-technical users verbally and in writing, maintaining true professionalism at all times.

Assist with deliveries and stock control.

Management of onboarding new customers and undertaking customer handovers.

Assist with other company administration tasks as required.

Particulars

The role is available immediately. Salary circa £24k per annum, depending on skills and experience. This is a permanent contract Monday-Friday 08.30-17.30.
