Job Description

We are seeking a bright, ambitious individual to join our busy business support department. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, driven, and hardworking, with strong administration skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office. A background in administration or IT is preferred.

Our client is a well-established IT company with over 20 years of experience, offering a great working environment. The role involves handling various office tasks, including quoting, purchase orders, and liaising between internal departments and customers to ensure smooth delivery of products and services. Additional duties may include project coordination and diary management.

Applicants must have excellent written and spoken English, with exceptional attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential, along with taking ownership of requests and issues. Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook is required.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Managing contract renewals and quotations
  • Sending reminders for upcoming deadlines
  • Scheduling technician visits and managing diaries
  • Liaising with customers and suppliers to coordinate schedules
  • Organising licensing and managing activations
  • Handling client requests and escalating issues as needed
  • Providing quotations for work
  • Explaining technical matters clearly to non-technical users
  • Assisting with deliveries and stock control
  • Onboarding new customers and customer handovers
  • Performing other administrative tasks as required

Particulars:

The role is available immediately. Salary is approximately £24,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience. This is a permanent position working Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:30.
