Overview

The Role A well-established accountancy practice based in Co. Tyrone is seeking an organised and proactive Accounts & Office Administrator to join their busy team four days a week. This is a newly created role, available for an immediate start, offering the opportunity to support both the professional staff and clients in a fast-paced practice environment. The successful candidate will take ownership of a range of administrative and bookkeeping tasks, ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day operations within the office.

Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day office administration, including scanning, filing and maintaining records.
  • Support the team with cloud-based bookkeeping systems (such as Xero, QuickBooks or Sage).
  • Liaise with clients via phone and email, ensuring excellent communication and customer service.
  • Assist with the preparation of documents, correspondence, and reports.
  • Monitor incoming queries and direct them to the appropriate team members.
  • Provide general support to accountants and management across the practice.
  • Help maintain a professional and organised office environment.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in an accountancy practice or professional services environment desirable.
  • Proficiency in cloud-based bookkeeping systems.
  • Strong administrative skills, including document management and office systems.
