Are you an experienced office professional looking for a rewarding opportunity within the construction industry? We have an exciting opening for a motivated and organised individual to join a dynamic civil and construction company based in Lesmahagow, South Lanarkshire.


Position: Office Administrator (with Microsoft Office Skills)
Location: Lesmahagow, South Lanarkshire
Job Type: Temporary, leading to full-time for the right candidate
Salary: Competitive, based on experience


Office hours: 9am - 5pm
Full time based in the office
Best to have a car as it's not easily accessible through public transport


About the Role:

In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting the operational side of construction projects, ensuring smooth communication and coordination between site managers, suppliers, and other stakeholders. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with strong administrative skills, particularly in Microsoft Word and Excel, who want to make a meaningful impact in a growing company.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Order materials and equipment for site projects, ensuring timely delivery and accurate inventory.
  2. Provide administrative support to site managers, assisting with various on-site tasks.
  3. Maintain up-to-date records, ensuring all documentation is accurate and accessible.
  4. Communicate effectively with suppliers and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
  5. Assist the wider team with a variety of office-based duties, contributing to overall project success.

What We're Looking For:
  1. Strong skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  2. Experience working within civil and construction companies.
  3. Familiarity with Scottish Power projects is a bonus, but not essential.
