We're Hiring: Office Assistant

Location: Northampton

Type: Full-Time

Salary: £25k per annum

We’re looking for a proactive and reliable Office Assistant to support multiple departments within a small but busy office environment.

The role primarily supports Operations, with additional involvement in Finance, Technical, and Marketing functions.

Ideal for someone who enjoys variety, takes initiative, and is confident handling both administrative and customer-facing responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process sales orders using Microsoft Dynamics NAV
  • Liaise with customers, warehouse, and logistics to ensure smooth operations
  • Handle deliveries, stock discrepancies, and assist with reconciliations
  • Maintain accurate records and assist with departmental filing
  • Support with invoice processing during busy periods or absences
  • Occasionally assist in preparing samples for exhibitions (training provided)
  • Manage general office duties including answering calls, greeting visitors, and preparing meeting spaces
  • Maintain internal systems like Outlook and Goldmine in line with company procedures
