About Us

Global Commissioning Limited is a privately owned consultancy based in Whitstable, Kent. We specialise in commissioning management and validation services for project developers and operators—ensuring every building we hand over is fully operational and design-compliant.

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a confident, organised, and proactive Office Support Administrator to join our friendly and fast-paced team.

The Role

This is a key position, supporting both office-based and on-site staff. You’ll handle everything from travel bookings and onboarding new starters, to managing suppliers and ensuring compliance procedures are followed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Procure essential office and site supplies (e.g., PPE, uniforms, stationery, food supplies)
  • Coordinate deliveries and collections from sites and suppliers
  • Arranging the Welcome Days agendas for new hires
  • Manage day-to-day travel arrangements, accommodation, and logistics
  • Organise transport—rental cars, taxis, last-minute changes
  • Maintain office safety procedures, including fire checks and DSE assessment
  • Provide phone and email support as the first point of contact for the office
  • Keep digital records tidy and up-to-date
  • Assist in planning team events and business activities


You'll Need

  • Proven experience in an administrative role
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Office 365; and ideally online travel booking platforms
  • A proactive, flexible approach with the ability to manage changing priorities
  • A full UK driving licence (for occasional local errands) with be a bonus


Working Hours

Full-time (40 hours per week)

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm and Friday 8.30am to 4pm

Lunch: 1 hour
