Job description

A vacancy has arisen for maternity leave cover for a self-motivated person to join our small but busy accountancy business based near Whiteley Bank.

Proficiency with excel is essential and a knowledge of QuickBooks would be an advantage.

Qualifications are not required but experience is preferred.

The job will involve analysing income and expenditure from client records and general office admin such as answering the phone and scanning incoming documents.

The position is temporary to cover maternity leave and is for 5 days a week Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, starting at the beginning of July 2025 until the begining of April 2026. (Exact dates to be confirmed)

Pay rate is national minimum wage.

Our office is at least one mile from the nearest bus stop, so having your own transport would be an advantage.
