Role: Offensive Security Specialist

Type: Permanent

Clearance: Eligible for SC

Interested in moving away from routine penetration tests? Keen to develop into a managerial role and build a team?

We are collaborating with a leading security provider establishing their Offensive Security team. The work involves Web App testing, Infrastructure testing, and Code Review, with opportunities to expand the service offerings. This role combines hands-on technical work with potential managerial responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop the Offensive Security capability into a market-leading function.
2. Engage with clients during scoping, tool selection, and delivery.
3. Manage services like Vulnerability Assessments, Code Reviews, and Penetration Tests.
4. Potentially provide training overseas or assist clients in enhancing their security.
5. Collaborate across departments to identify and develop new services and products.
6. Deliver high-standard Application or Infrastructure penetration tests.
7. Work with clients to scope various services, including phishing.
8. Experience with Code Reviews to identify vulnerabilities is desirable.
9. Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
10. Experience in training or mentoring is advantageous.
11. Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CRT, CSTM, CCT, Offensive Security certifications) are a plus.
