West Midlands Police seeks candidates for an administrative role focused on offender management and systems maintenance. The position involves liaising with various stakeholders, ensuring accurate documentation, and supporting performance management frameworks. Ideal for individuals with administrative experience and IT proficiency, this role supports a critical function within the police force.
Prospective officers and staff must be held to a higher standard of behaviour and accountability than members of the public, and that therefore their right to privacy can be fettered in certain circumstances. This is to ensure that members of the police are fully aware and accountable for the unique powers entrusted to them and the standards of professional behaviour they swear to uphold.
Role and Scope
To provide an efficient administration and technical service, including the maintenance of systems and processes; performance management; and the enhancement of partnership working.
Responsibilities

2. Planning and Organising
The officer will plan and prioritise their work, managing their own time and responding to line manager requirements.
3. Contacts and Liaison
Maintain regular contact within West Midlands Police and externally, representing the force professionally and acting as a Single Point of Contact.
4. Analysis, Reporting and Documentation
Ensure all systems and processes are properly recorded, actioned, and disseminated.
Additional Information
Interviews are likely to take place during the week commencing 16th June (excluding 19th & 20th June).
Applicants must pass Recruitment Vetting and Counter Terrorism Clearance, including background and financial checks.
Appointment may depend on medical checks, including drugs and fitness tests.
Current WMP staff in probation cannot apply for other roles unless exceptional circumstances apply, supported by their line manager.
