Join Our Team as OET Interlocutor(s) in Manchester!

Mobile Testing Solutions Ltd (“MTS”) is a global exam service provider for a variety of exam boards, which also has an online exam preparation school.

We're looking for OET Interlocutor(s) to join our Manchester team on a casual, zero-hours basis. If you thrive in dynamic exam environments and have a keen eye for detail, this role could be ideal for you.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver scripted role plays and interviews for the OET speaking test on test day
  • Conduct test interviews following the script and role play guidelines
  • Participate actively in role plays with candidates
  • Use recording equipment as instructed
  • Maintain consistent and secure handling of test materials
  • Ensure confidentiality of all test-related information
  • Conduct interviews with candidates with no prior contact
  • Complete online training for OET certification
  • Report issues to the Test Venue Manager
  • Participate in audits and performance monitoring
  • Use company email and system responsibly, maintaining confidentiality
  • Use own devices for training and meetings as needed
  • Comply with GDPR, data protection, and safeguarding policies
  • Present a professional appearance and provide excellent customer care
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Degree or equivalent from a recognized institution
  • CEFR level C1 or higher in English
  • Experience in exam administration is a plus but not required
  • Clear pronunciation and linguistic accuracy
  • Ability to communicate effectively in interviews and role plays
  • Not involved in teaching OET
  • Respect for cultural norms and appropriate interaction with candidates
  • Willingness to follow guidance and training
  • Comfort with IT hardware and software
  • Organized, meticulous, and able to multitask
  • Calm under pressure and adaptable to varying hours
  • Eligible to work in the UK
