18 Week Support Limited is seeking an ODP with anaesthetics experience for shifts in Bournemouth and East Sussex. Roles include weekday/weekend, part-time and full-time options, with flexible scheduling via the booking app. Training and orientation provided as needed and travel/accommodation arranged within 50 miles of NHS Trust.

Daily rate starts at £350, with ongoing sessions available and access to a specialized clinical insourcing model supporting NHS Trusts.

Qualifications

• 1 year minimum of recent experience within an Anaesthetics Unit.
• Signed off as a competent ODP with the ability to manage and participate in emergency situations and assist with patient intubation.
• Able to take charge of trolley preparation and setup, including drugs, consumables etc.
• Able to reassure patients.
• Ability to work in unfamiliar work environments, using initiative and experience.
• Competent with Mallampati grading.
• Identify and elevate a deteriorating patient.

Job summary

Working as part of a fantastic team supported by the 18 Week Clinical and Nurse Leads in your specialty and overseen by our Chief Nurse.

Excellent daily rate (paid via clinical payroll).

Qualifications

Essential

• 1 year minimum of recent experience within an Anaesthetics Unit.
• Signed off as a competent ODP with the ability to manage and participate in emergency situations and assist with patient intubation.

• Able to reassure patients.
• Ability to work in unfamiliar work environments, using initiative and experience.
• Competent with Mallampati grading.

• A plus if you have more than 1 year of experience.
• 1 year minimum of recent experience within an Anaesthetics Unit.
