Sheffield City Council is seeking an ambitious Organisational Development Consultant to join a newly established OD function. You will influence council-wide transformation, acting as a strategic partner to senior leaders and HR colleagues to deliver practical, sustainable change.

The role covers organisation design, workforce planning, leadership development, and embedding new operating models. Flexible working and generous holiday are highlighted as part of the package.

Qualifications

• Experience in organisation development and change
• Ability to partner with senior leaders and HR colleagues
• Knowledge of workforce planning and OD design best practices

Responsibilities

• Develop a coherent corporate OD framework and prioritise major change programmes.
• Support priority setting on organisation design, spans & layers, operating models and redesign assurance.
• Embed leadership models and strengthen performance management across services.
