Job summary

The Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service is seeking an Organisational and Leadership Development Manager to design, deliver and evaluate programmes that strengthen leadership, learning and culture across the organisation.

Working with senior leaders, you will use insights and data to prioritise work, build workforce capability and create development pathways so colleagues can perform at their best.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in organisational development, learning, leadership development or culture change within a complex organisation.
• Experience designing and delivering leadership programmes, learning pathways and development interventions that improve capability and performance.
• Strong facilitation, coaching, influencing and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to use workforce insight, training needs analysis and evaluation data to shape priorities and demonstrate impact.
• Commitment to equality, diversity, inclusion and creating a positive employee experience.
• Confidence managing projects, suppliers, contracts and budgets to deliver quality, value for money and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, delivery and evaluation of organisational development, learning and leadership programmes that support organisational priorities.
• Help build workforce capability, embed a coaching culture, support succession planning and create development pathways that enable people to perform at their best.
• Oversee talent development, inclusion, equality and culture initiatives, ensuring approaches are fair, evidence-based and focused on continuous improvement.
