Job summary

Expeditors in Manchester is seeking a detail-oriented Import Coordinator to join our UK team. You will manage preparation and administration of import files from receipt to completion, review shipments, and ensure accuracy and compliance while delivering high quality customer service.

You will monitor shipments, provide updates to customers and internal stakeholders, and complete invoicing and related administrative tasks on time.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous; however, full training will be provided, so this is not essential.
• Global logistics industry knowledge
• Good computer skills (e.g., MS Excel, MS Word)

Responsibilities

• Manage the preparation and administration of import files from receipt through to completion.
• Receive and review shipping documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Process import shipments efficiently while maintaining a high level of customer service.
• Proactively monitor shipments and communicate updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Complete invoicing and other related administrative tasks accurately and on time
