Job summary

Rhenus Logistics in Bradford is seeking an Ocean Operator to join their Ocean Freight department. The role involves managing both import and export shipments, ensuring all customs clearance and shipping documentation is accurately processed. You will collaborate with customers, agents, and carriers to ensure smooth logistics operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in Ocean Import and/or Ocean Export freight forwarding operations.
• Knowledge of both LCL and FCL shipment processes.
• Experience of customs procedures, including Duty and VAT processes.

Responsibilities

• Receiving bookings from customers, agents and overseas offices.
• Raising files within the Rhenus software system.
• Preparing customs clearance instructions and shipping instructions.

Skills

Ocean Import and Export experience
