Role Overview: As an Ocean Freight Import Co-Ordinator, you will collaborate with around 100 UK colleagues to meet customer requirements, ensuring timely and efficient document processing, maintaining high-quality, compliant processes, and fostering customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver excellent customer service aligned with DGF’s 10 Customer Commitments.
  2. Support and drive the company’s strategy.
  3. Manage end-to-end process for OFR Import and designated customers.
  4. Communicate effectively with customers.
  5. Administer operational data, including financial reviews.
  6. Support profitability, volume growth, and service quality objectives.
  7. Build and maintain relationships with customers and service providers.
  8. Assist sales with key customer interactions.
  9. Implement OFR strategy and ensure compliance with country-specific requirements.
  10. Adhere to DPDHL Code of Conduct and anti-corruption policies.

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven import experience with knowledge of Customer Service & Ocean Freight processes.
  • Ability to meet customer service needs professionally.
  • Leadership skills to motivate a team.
  • Experience in Ocean Freight.
  • Results-oriented with attention to detail.
  • Fluent English, excellent communication skills.
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to prioritize under pressure.
  • Commercial attitude and basic education (A levels or broad GCSE).
