Our client, an established freight forwarding company operating globally with over 10 locations across the UK, is seeking an experienced Ocean Coordinator eager to develop their career. This role offers potential progression into a supervisory position within a growing organization.

Main Duties:

1. Calculating, negotiating, and preparing ocean freight quotations
2. Managing all ocean imports from start to finish
3. Collaborating with other departments
4. Following up on quotes
5. Developing relationships with clients and shipping lines

Requirements:

• Knowledge of customs procedures
• 4+ years’ experience in ocean freight
• Experience handling imports and exports from start to finish
• Previous experience within a freight forwarding company
• Strong communication skills
• Commercial awareness
