Lead OT
Band 5 OTTI
To work as part of the Occupational Therapy team to design and provide a range of therapeutic interventions to patients referred to the service.
To carry out special duties assigned by the Lead Occupational Therapist.
To assist the Lead of Occupational Therapy in the provision, monitoring, and development of the Occupational Therapy Service in the Enablement Directorate.
To design and provide Occupational Therapy prescribed therapeutic programs for individual and group activity-based sessions, specialising in woodwork activities for inpatients and outpatients referred to the Occupational Therapy Neurological Rehabilitation Service.
To assist the Lead or Senior Occupational Therapists in the day-to-day supervision and delegation of routine occupational therapy activities to the OT assistants/technical instructors where appropriate.
To work as part of the interdisciplinary team providing neurological rehabilitation individually and in groups.
To agree workshop goals with the patient and the referring OT, contributing to the goal planning process.
