A major NHS teaching hospital in Banbury is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to lead the Acute Neurosciences Therapy team. The role involves managing a complex caseload, providing specialist rehabilitation, and leading quality improvement initiatives within a multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and experience in neurosurgical care.
We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced, self-motivated, and innovative Occupational Therapist to join our Acute Neurosciences Therapy team. We are looking for a Team Lead to the Occupational Therapists providing care to both inpatients on the 75 bedded acute neuroscience ward and the neuro intensive care unit.
The Team Lead will lead and work collaboratively with the dynamic multi-professional team to deliver early high-quality specialist assessments and rehabilitation. They will be responsible for operational management, supervising and teaching Occupational Therapists, Therapy Assistants and students, and initiating and leading in audit, quality improvement and evidence-based projects. They will also manage a clinical caseload of highly complex neurosurgical and neuro-medical patients.
