Job summary

Protocol Education is recruiting for an Occupational Therapy graduate to support a Walker primary SEND setting, helping children develop essential skills and confidence in the classroom.

You will work with teachers and therapists to deliver personalised support, focusing on sensory regulation and fine motor development while celebrating every child’s progress. This is a rewarding entry role in a nurturing environment.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy (or due to graduate this year).
  • Interest in working with children with SEND.
  • Calm, patient and enjoys finding creative ways to help children succeed.
  • Works well as part of a team and communicates confidently.
  • Experience with children or young people through placements, volunteering or previous work.

Responsibilities

  • Support pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, sensory processing differences and physical needs.

What you\'ll be doing

We\'re looking for someone who


  • Holds a degree in Occupational Therapy or is due to graduate this year

  • Has a genuine interest in working with children with SEND

  • Is calm, patient and enjoys finding creative ways to help children succeed

  • Works well as part of a team and communicates confidently

  • Has experience with children or young people through placements, volunteering or previous work, although this isn\'t essential
