You will need to be an experienced therapist to act as a source of expert advice, focused on achieving real improvements in outcomes for patients and confident in your ability to support, coach and develop individuals and teams to deliver consistently high quality services whilst deputising for the Team Lead. There is also an expectation to support student placements and mentoring for university apprenticeships.

Occupational Therapists play a key role in shaping and developing the service provided and with this there will be opportunities to develop the role and service in a collaborative approach with Social Care colleagues and the acute settings.
