Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Associate Practitioner, Occupational Therapy for a maternity cover in Witham. This NHS AfC Band 4, part-time 14 hours per week, fixed-term for 1 year.

You will work with adults with learning disabilities, providing therapeutic input under an Occupational Therapist, recording activities, and liaising with carers and other professionals in community settings.

Formación

• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office and associated packages.
• A Levels and/or Health and Social Care NVQ level 3 or equivalent.
• Experience of working with people with learning disabilities and/or mental health problems.

Responsabilidades

• Work with service users on tasks and therapeutic activities guided by the Therapist.
• Promote engagement in meaningful occupation to improve quality of life.
• Maintain clinical records and liaise with carers and professionals.
• Attend mandatory training and plan activities with supervisor.
• Plan and facilitate occupationally based groups when opportunities arise.
