Job summary

Tempest Resourcing Limited is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant for a locum position in Croydon. You will join a specialist school supporting children aged 4–18 with autism and learning difficulties, assisting therapists to deliver programmes and interventions.

The role requires previous Therapy Assistant experience, a DBS, and the ability to collaborate with OTs, school staff and a multidisciplinary team in a supportive educational setting.

Qualifications

• Previous Therapy Assistant experience is essential.
• Experience supporting children or young people with additional needs.
• Comfortable supporting OT programmes and interventions.
• Able to work effectively alongside OTs, education staff and the wider multidisciplinary team.
• Clear DBS (we can put this in process for you)

Overview

I am currently recruiting for an Occupational Therapy Assistant to join a specialist school in Croydon supporting children and young people aged 4-18 with autism and learning difficulties.

The school supports pupils with a range of social communication, cognitive, sensory and social, emotional and behavioural needs. You'll be joining a well-established therapy team with 2 Senior Occupational Therapists and another Occupational Therapy Assistant already in place.

This is a great opportunity for someone with previous Therapy Assistant experience who is comfortable working within a specialist education environment and supporting therapists to deliver programmes across the school.
