An exciting opportunity to join the Buckinghamshire Community Hospital as an Occupational Therapy Assistant. You will support the therapy team in acute rehabilitation, working with patients in the hospital and sometimes at home. An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within the Buckinghamshire Community Hospital - Waterside ward at Amersham Hospital as an Occupational Therapy Clinical Support Worker supporting the Therapy team in implementing acute rehabilitation. The post will suit an independent, motivated, hardworking, and enthusiastic person who wishes to work as part of a dynamic, personalized care therapy team.
You will undertake therapy treatments and interventions on the Waterside ward and sometimes in a patient's own home, as identified by the Therapists, to help patients progress towards discharge home or to an alternative residence. Previous experience working in therapy and treating patients within hospital or community environments with falls, orthopaedic, medical, or neurological conditions is necessary.
Successful candidates will be fully trained for the role, with regular training, supervision, and appraisal provided.

Salary: £24,625 to £25,674 per annum, pro-rata.
