We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Waiting List Outreach Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for making daily phone calls to residents on a waiting list, ensuring their safety, and providing reassurance. You will also assess the level of risk and prescribe any necessary simple equipment. The role requires strict adherence to targets and daily reporting of contacts. The ideal candidate will possess robust clinical reasoning and risk management skills. While the role will be mostly remote, there may be occasional in-person attendance required in the borough. Additionally, the candidate may need to provide support for critical council issues on an ad hoc basis. This position will be supervised by the OT Manager and Advanced Practitioner OT.
