Central London Community Healthcare Academy have partnered with University of East London and University of Hertfordshire to deliver this exciting four-year apprenticeship program. Successful completion leads to Occupational Therapist registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

Main duties of the jobThis is a developmental role for those already working within Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust who can demonstrate working in a clinical healthcare environment. External candidates will not be considered on this occasion.
The apprentice will work towards progression into the post of Occupational Therapist through successful completion of the Occupational Therapy apprenticeship which includes the attainment of a level 6 BSc (honours) degree.
The Occupational Therapy Apprenticeship combines and integrates both academic and work-based learning through close collaboration between employers and education providers. As an apprentice you will have a primary base as an employee, in a particular organisation, in a specific setting, but will have placements to experience working in alternative settings in order that they gain a wide appreciation of many health and care contexts and are able to fulfil all the requirements of the programme.
