Job Description:

How would you like to be paid for five days but only work four*?

Our colleagues’ wellbeing is at the heart of everything we do at OFG, so we’re always looking for new ways to improve everyone’s work/life balance. We’re taking part in a trial of the 4-Day Working Week, meaning that you could be working one day less a week (or equivalent).

If the trial is a success, we’ll be rolling the 4DWW out across the Group – so there’s never been a more exciting time to join #teamOFG!

Are you an Occupational Therapist excited to work during times of transformative change? Are you experienced, or have a keen interest, in working with neurodiversity (Autism, ADHD), trauma, and complex needs? Do you want to help create a nationally important resource with the backing of one of the leading providers of education for young people with SEN?

If so, we have the role for you! We are growing our Clinical Teams and are looking for Occupational Therapists across the UK to work within our SEN Schools.

You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team providing essential services to meet the needs of our pupils.

We have vacancies throughout the UK, with new opportunities arising soon. All current vacancies can be viewed at:

  • Recognised Occupational Therapy degree
  • Registered with the HCPC and RCSLT or RCOT
  • Experience or interest in trauma or complex needs settings
  • Clear report writing skills
  • Experience with clients with autism, language disorders, dyspraxia, sensory impairments, learning difficulties, and challenging behaviour
  • Experience working with multidisciplinary teams (newly qualified candidates considered)
  • Ability to work independently
  • Full UK Driving Licence and access to own vehicle required

For more details, please refer to the attached Job Description and Person Specification. To discuss the role further, contact us.

Why work for us?

We offer an exceptional reward package, including:

  • £2,000 training allowance
  • Life Assurance
  • Pension scheme with options to increase contributions
  • Access to mental health and physical health support services
  • *Work 80% of your hours for 100% of your pay during the 4DWW trial, subject to probation
  • Family Growth Support benefits, including enhanced maternity and paternity leave and fertility support

Additional benefits via Vista platform include:

  • Health, wellbeing, and insurance benefits
  • Discount options
  • Cycle to Work Scheme
  • Electric Car Purchase Scheme
  • Critical illness cover

Our mission is to positively impact the lives of the pupils we serve, and your role will be central to this.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our pupils. Successful applicants will undergo social media checks and a fully enhanced DBS.
