Job description

Job Title: Occupational Therapist - Stroke Specialist

We are seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist with a focus on Stroke treatment, eager to develop skills in providing treatment, advice, and education to patients in their own homes. This role involves supporting patients to complete tasks and activities important to them.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Participate in complex rehabilitation and contribute to its function.
  2. Assess patients with diverse and complex presentations.
  3. Perform advanced, comprehensive, and standardized assessments within specialized clinical areas.
  4. Use clinical reasoning and evidence-based practice to determine treatment plans, utilizing a wide range of treatment skills and options.
  5. Analyze and interpret clinical and non-clinical information to form accurate diagnoses, with guidance from specialist Occupational Therapists when appropriate.
  6. Demonstrate highly developed assessment and therapeutic skills necessary for patient treatment.
