Job summary

Find Medical in Liverpool is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join a school-based team on a full-time, permanent basis. You will assess, plan, and deliver therapy to pupils with a range of needs, including autism, ADHD, and sensory processing differences.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team, collaborate with staff and families, maintain records, and contribute to training for school staff.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • HCPC registration.
  • Experience working with children and young people is desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong organisational and report-writing skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and identify pupils' occupational therapy needs.
  • Develop and implement individualised therapy programmes.
  • Provide direct and indirect therapy interventions.
  • Support pupils in achieving greater independence and participation within the school environment.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff, parents/carers, and external professionals.
  • Deliver training and guidance to school staff to support therapeutic outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports in line with professional standards.

Occupational Therapist - Join Our School-Based Team We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our specialist school in Liverpool on a full-time, permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and young people by supporting their development, independence, and access to education.

Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will assess, plan, and deliver therapeutic interventions tailored to the needs of pupils with a range of additional learning needs, including autism, ADHD, sensory processing difficulties, and other complex needs.

Key Responsibilities
