A regional healthcare provider in Ellesmere Port is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join their Specialist Perinatal Mental Health Team. This part-time role (30 hours per week) involves providing assessments and treatments focusing on perinatal mental health. The ideal candidate will have at least two years post-graduate experience as a Band 5 OT and be able to work flexibly across different sites in the Wirral area.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join the dynamic forward thinking Specialist Perinatal Mental Health Team on a permanent basis for 30 hours per week. The successful applicant must have a minimum 2 years post graduate experience as a Band 5 Occupational Therapist or equivalent. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a specialist area of occupational therapy practice and work alongside a multidisciplinary team to deliver a high quality and evidence based practice for clients of the CWP Specialist Perinatal Mental Health Services. The successful applicant will offer specialist occupational therapy assessment and treatment focusing on perinatal mental health, transition to parenthood and consider the infant and mother-infant relationship. This is a part time 30 hours per week, covering core working hours (9am-5pm) Monday to Friday. Flexible/ job-share / part time arrangements may be considered. The team cover the whole of the CWP footprint and four maternity units across the patch including Arrowe Park Hospital (Wirral), Countess of Chester Hospital (Chester), Leighton Hospital (Crewe) and Macclesfield District & General Hospital (Macclesfield). This post is to caseload hold in the Wirral part of our patch.
The clinical team mainly operate agile working with a weekly meeting held at the base and offer clinics across the patch; therefore ability to travel is necessary for this role. Please download a copy of the job description for full details of the main responsibilities for this role.
