Exciting Opportunity for an Occupational Therapist specialising in Older Adults in Exeter UK, earning up to £30 hourly!
We have an ongoing locum position available for a dynamic Occupational Therapist who is enthusiastic about making a difference in the lives of older adults. This is a part-time role at 30 hours per week and requires an HCPC registered professional. If you enjoy helping clients with complex needs and have a knack for rehabilitative care, particularly after surgeries and accidents, we want to hear from you.

What you will do:

Engage in the Occupational Therapy process, including comprehensive information gathering, assessment, intervention planning, conducting interventions, and evaluating outcomes leading to discharge

Provide specialised support to older adults, clients with dementia, and individuals with complex needs and various conditions

Offer rehabilitation services for clients recovering from surgery, accidents, and injuries such as hip or knee replacements, hip fractures, spinal surgery, and post-fall recovery

Execute moving and handling tasks for clients with complex needs, ensuring the correct provision of slings for both full and standing hoist usage
