Job Title: Occupational Therapist – Older Adult Care – Bury

Location: Bury

Pay Rate: £32 per hour

About the Role:

Liquid Personnel is recruiting an experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) to assess individuals receiving care packages, ensuring high-quality OT interventions that promote safe and independent living at home. The ideal candidate will have expertise in single-handed care, moving and handling, and experience working with older adults and individuals with mental health or physical disabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to develop tailored OT interventions supporting independent living.
• Review and adjust care packages to meet individuals’ needs effectively.
• Facilitate hospital discharges by implementing appropriate care solutions.
• Provide expert advice on single-handed care and moving and handling techniques.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and external agencies.
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold professional standards.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
• Legal right to work in the UK.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience working with older adults and individuals with mental health or physical disabilities.
• Strong decision-making skills, excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
