An excited opportunity has arisen to join our therapy team at Tudor Court, made up of occupational therapists, physiotherapists and therapy assistants.
The band 6 occupational therapist would be expected to assess a patients needs, create realistic and timely goals set with the patient and provide daily therapy in order to achieve these target goals. The occupational therapist would also assist in supporting with discharges and ongoing referrals in order to facilitate patients back into the community setting safely.
To be experienced and skilled in the holistic assessment of patient’s needs and the development, implementation and evaluation of treatment programmes.
To support senior members of the team in delivering evidence based patient care.
To carry out assessment and treatment across community settings
To work as a member of the multidisciplinary team, co-ordinating rehab programmes in the patients own home.
