The ideal candidate will manage a caseload, implement evidence-based treatments, and collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to support clients with complex needs. This occupational therapy role involves specialist assessment and intervention within Barnet community services. The post offers regular CPD opportunities, protected preceptorship time (if relevant), and monthly team meetings.
The post holder will manage a caseload, providing assessments, planning, implementing interventions, evaluating treatments, and ensuring safe discharge. They will deliver specialist OT assessments and work across services on time-limited interventions with clear goals established with service users and clinical teams.
The role involves working with clients with complex needs, including dual diagnosis and coexisting physical health conditions. Knowledge of the Mental Health Act, 1983 (amended 2007), is required.
The post requires close collaboration with Multi-Disciplinary Teams and external agencies, as well as supervision of a Band 6 OT, to deliver a responsive, high-quality service tailored to clients' occupational needs.
