Occupational Therapist – NHS Band 5 UK Job | Visa Sponsorship Available

Salary: NHS Band 5 (£28,407 – £34,581 per annum)

Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is inviting applications from enthusiastic and motivated Occupational Therapists to join its acute care team. This opportunity is ideal for UK-based graduates or international candidates currently pursuing or holding HCPC registration. Visa sponsorship is available for qualified applicants.

This Band 5 position offers rotational experience across a variety of hospital departments. You will assess and treat patients with a wide range of clinical conditions, supporting their recovery and promoting independence through evidence-based occupational therapy interventions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Apply SAFER discharge principles and enable positive risk-taking
  • HCPC registration (or currently applying)
  • Awareness of health and social care legislation
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Understanding of occupational therapy models of practice
  • Accredited wheelchair prescriber
  • UK driving licence
