Job Title: Occupational Therapist

Rate: Up to £38 per hour
An exciting opportunity has become available for an Occupational Therapist to join Medway on a temporary basis.
As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering highly effective occupational therapy services within Adult Social Care. You will work collaboratively with colleagues and partners to ensure person-centred outcomes while adhering to relevant policies and legislation, including The Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, and Mental Health Act. You will also play a key role in promoting and supporting the Council’s safeguarding policies and procedures. This hybrid role requires a mix of office-based, community, and remote work, with on-duty responsibilities at Gun Wharf once a week.
To be successful in this role, you must be a qualified Occupational Therapist and a car driver with business cover. You should be able to travel within Medway and potentially further afield. Additionally, you must have knowledge and experience in applying relevant legislation, statutory guidance, and standards related to Adult Social Care. Strong ICT skills and the ability to record accurate information are also essential.
