We are looking for 2 enthusiastic and motivated Occupational Therapists to join our Stroke Therapy Team. You will provide efficient, high standard specialist rehabilitation to our stroke patients across the New Forest part on the Stroke Rehabilitation Unit and in the patients' own home, as well as involvement in stroke reviews.
Our multidisciplinary stroke therapy team uniquely covers 3 areas, including Early Supported Stroke Discharge (ESD), a 16-bed inpatient unit (8 stroke and 8 complex medical rehabilitation beds) and the Stroke Review Service for the whole New Forest and surrounding areas. The role is based within the Stroke ward at Lymington New Forest Hospital.
Successful candidates will take part in rotations. They will participate in our IST programme, supervision structure, service development and our weekend rota supporting our 7 day a week ESD service.
Ideally applicants will have a minimum of 2 years stroke/neuro experience, but those with less experience will be considered and there is potentially an opportunity for the role to be a developmental 5 to 6 post.
