Position Overview

We are currently looking for a qualified and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our agency at Sirona Medical Social Work department. Become a pivotal member of the Reablement Team and have a positive impact on individuals' lives following illness, injury, loss of confidence, or hospital admission. Reablement offers Occupational Therapists the opportunity to work proactively with customers in their own homes to achieve greater independence, promote well-being, and minimize long-term care needs. As an Occupational Therapist, you will conduct strengths-based assessments, work with customers and their families to design and implement creative reablement plans to help them achieve their goals. The Reablement Service is led by occupational therapists alongside occupational therapy assistants and support workers, with support from our Principal Occupational Therapist.

Qualifications

• BA Honors or Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy
• HCPC Registration
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• Full UK driver’s license and access to a vehicle
• Minimum of two years post-qualification experience
