An award-winning, NHS and HSE approved practice seeks an Occupational Therapist for neurodevelopmental assessments. The role offers the opportunity to work with children suspected of autism and/or ADHD. A hybrid work arrangement is available, providing flexibility while conducting essential diagnostic assessments responsibly.

Qualifications

  • HCPC registered Occupational Therapist eligible to work in the UK.
  • Experience with neurodevelopmental assessments for children and young people.
  • Familiarity with report writing and record keeping.

  • Write reports promptly, providing recommendations and interventions.

Role: Permanent, full and part-time considered

Salary: £45,000 - £65,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Job Description:

Our client is an award-winning, NHS and HSE approved practice dedicated to providing high-quality psychological care across the UK and Ireland. They offer neurodevelopmental and psychological assessments for adults and children, as well as expert witness assessments for courts, parole boards, criminal law, family law, immigration law, and medico-legal cases.

The role involves working within the Neurodevelopmental Assessment Team for children referred for autism and/or ADHD assessments via NHS Patient choice and GP referral. Candidates must be able to travel to the Harrogate base for hybrid roles. Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive assessments using established diagnostic tools, writing reports promptly, and providing recommendations and interventions.

Qualifications:
  • HCPC registered Occupational Therapist.
  • Eligible to work in the UK.
  • Experience in neurodevelopmental and developmental assessments with children and young people.
  • ADOS-2/ADI-R trained.
  • Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Experience in report writing and record keeping.
