Job summary

Sheffield City Council’s Equipment and Adaptations Team invites an Occupational Therapist to assess service users for equipment and adaptations to support independent living, safety and wellbeing at home. The role collaborates across health and social care to recommend aids and equipment provision in line with assessed need.

This temporary assignment runs from September 2026 to March 2027, paying £30 per hour, with weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Recognised Occupational Therapy qualification
• HCPC registration required

Responsibilities

• Assess service users’ needs for equipment and adaptations
• Recommend appropriate aids, minor and major adaptations, and equipment provision as per assessed need
