A healthcare organization in the UK is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join their Bank Occupational Therapy Team. This role offers opportunities to work across various clinical areas including orthopaedics and stroke care, while developing skills through supervision and training. Applicants should have a relevant Occupational Therapy qualification and a passion for improving patient experiences. This position is suitable for students graduating in 2025.
We are offering an opportunity to join our Bank Occupational Therapy Team, allowing you to develop your clinical knowledge and skills across various areas such as orthopaedics, medicine, stroke, general surgery, care of the elderly, and supported discharge.
Staff enhance their knowledge through our appraisal process, supervision, in-service training, and peer support groups.
Applicants should have knowledge and experience in patient assessment and treatment, and be motivated to improve patient experiences. Graduate experience in an acute hospital setting is desirable.
You will work in a dedicated, motivated team of Occupational Therapy staff across acute hospital and community settings, with cross-site work depending on clinical needs.

Our main hospitals include Furness General Hospital (FGH) in Barrow, Royal Lancaster Infirmary (RLI), and Westmorland General Hospital (WGH) in Kendal, along with community healthcare facilities such as Millom Hospital, Queen Victoria Hospital in Morecambe, and Ulverston Community Health Centre.
FGH and RLI offer comprehensive hospital services, including Emergency Departments and specialist units. WGH provides general hospital services and an Urgent Treatment Centre for non-life-threatening conditions.
All hospitals provide outpatient, diagnostic, therapy, day surgery, and inpatient services. Community services aim to support independence and health management through home visits, clinics, GP practices, and community hospitals.
