Job description

Our paediatric SEND team are looking for an occupational therapist to join the team on a bank basis.

This post requires the post-holder to visit schools across the Essex area, so it is essential that they can drive and have access to their own car.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will hold an appropriate occupational therapy degree and be HCPC/RCSLT registered. They will be supported to work independently, as well as part of a team. They will have experience of working with children with special educational needs. They will also provide training (in-person or virtually) to nursery and education staff and parents as required.

This post requires the therapist to engage with the child and family; liaise with nursery and education staff, and contribute to Educational Health and Care Plans. This post also requires the candidate to drive to various locations across Essex.
