You will provide assessment and treatment of occupational dysfunction as part of a multidisciplinary team, under supervision of a senior Occupational Therapist. The role includes supervising others and supporting student education. Service Line: Mental Health Adults (Male) Level 2 High Support Inpatient Rehabilitation
Site Overview:
Cygnet St Augustines is a 32-bed specialist inpatient rehabilitation service for men, designed to support their return to community living. The facility includes en-suite bedrooms, therapy spaces, an IT café, gym, and lounges. It is located in Stoke-on-Trent with good transport links and community engagement opportunities.
The multidisciplinary team includes occupational therapy, psychology, psychiatry, and nursing staff, supported by a Band 7 Occupational Therapist and Activity Coordinators.
Occupational Therapy Directorate
Led by occupational therapy directors, supporting over 150 OTs, the team fosters evidence-based practice and service development, ensuring occupational therapists have a voice and opportunities for professional growth.
