Elysium Healthcare is seeking an Occupational Therapist Assistant to join the Cotswold Spa Hospital site in Worcestershire. You will work under an Occupational Therapist to support structured activities, help plan individual and group therapeutic interventions, and build rapport with service users to empower recovery.

The role involves contributing to assessment, monitoring and modification of activities to measure progress and ensure effectiveness, within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• GCSE/O-Levels (A-C) or a relevant NVQ2.
• Experience in a similar environment & Mental Health
• Verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Assisting Occupational Therapists, Nurses and other MDT staff in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of individual care plans.
• Supporting service users to achieve their goals and access appropriate services.

Cotswold Spa Hospital is a specialist eating disorder service located in Broadway, Worcestershire for young people aged between 13+ which offers both inpatient and day patient treatment programmes.

It is situated in the picturesque village of Broadway, Worcestershire, close to the Cotswold Way.

The service is for young people of all genders with an eating disorder, predominantly:

• Bulimia Nervosa
• Anorexia Nervosa
• Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder

The units have been specifically designed with the adolescent and young adult in mind. The interior design of the hospital is both contemporary and comfortable incorporating young people’s art.
