A leading organization in the healthcare sector is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join their Occupational Therapy & Sensory Services team in London. The role involves delivering high-quality services to support adults, focusing on well-being and independence. Candidates should have a degree in Occupational Therapy and be registered with the HCPC. This position offers an opportunity to work collaboratively with service users and multi-disciplinary teams to enhance quality of life through rehabilitative planning and support.
The Post holder will be an integral part of the Occupational Therapy & Sensory Services, delivering high-quality services to support adults using a person-centred approach. They will focus on well-being, prevention, choice & control for individuals, maximising their independence and potential.
The Occupational Therapist will meet with Service Users, carers, families, multi-disciplinary agencies, and organizations (in various locations as required) to enhance independence, safety, and quality of life through rehabilitative planning, equipment specification, environmental modifications, and support plan development. They will coordinate assessments, reports, and presentations to multi-agency panels.
They will ensure compliance with Council policies/procedures and statutory obligations, adhering to the College of Occupational Therapy Code of Ethics & Professional Conduct and HCPC Standards of Proficiency.
Responsible for the quality and prioritization of their work, alerting Line Management to workload issues, and maintaining performance standards and adherence to policies and targets.
