What you will do:

* Undertake and complete specialist Occupational Therapy assessments for individuals with physical disabilities within their homes.

* Handle a caseload suitable to your expertise and provide expert advice while maintaining efficient workflow.

* Respond to telephone and email queries promptly and professionally.

* Make recommendations to meet clients' eligible needs, optimising available resources.

* Recommend and provide necessary occupational therapy equipment.

* Advise on minor and major adaptations for clients' homes.

* Complete Moving and Handling assessments, providing guidance to carers and family members.

* Respond effectively to urgent referrals, prioritising tasks based on risk and duty of care.

* Participate in the Occupational Therapy Duty rota if required.

* Refer clients to internal and external services as appropriate.

Requirements:

* Valid HCPC registration to practice as an Occupational Therapist in the UK.

* You must be a car driver to attend home visits and assessments across the borough efficiently.
